Chase Jacobs
Lead Pastor
Chase grew up near Dallas, Texas, and came to a deeper understanding of the gospel while studying graphic design at the University of North Texas, where he met his wife, Kristen. After college, he served for five years in college ministry and helped plant a church in Denton, Texas, where he served as a lay elder. He later earned his Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. In 2019, Chase and Kristen moved to Albuquerque to serve Desert Springs Church, where Chase has served as Minister of Theological Training, Executive Pastor, and now Church Planting Pastor. Chase and Kristen have three children: Everett, Samuel, and Jordan.
Sandy Beauchamp
Non-Staff Pastor
Sandy grew up in San Clemente, California, and moved to Albuquerque in 1987 while finishing five years of service in the U.S. Air Force. He met his wife, Gina, at a mid-week service at Calvary Chapel, and they were married in 1990. Sandy studied Finance and Economics at the University of New Mexico and has spent his career as a financial advisor. Sandy came to personal faith in Christ at age eighteen while working at a Christian summer camp in Yosemite. Sandy and Gina became members of Desert Springs Church in 1994 and have served over the years through financial management, marriage classes, Bible studies, and hospitality. They have three children: Ben, Emma, and Luke.
Dan Wuthrich
Non-Staff Pastor
Dan was raised in a military family, though Texas always felt like home. After serving six years in the U.S. Navy, he moved to Dallas, where he met his wife, Cheryl, and began a lifelong journey of faith, family, and ministry. Dan earned his law degree from Baylor University and practiced law in Central California for 21 years. As the Lord began leading him toward vocational ministry, he earned a Master’s degree in Apologetics from Biola University and later served with Village Missions for 10 years, pastoring small rural churches in Arizona and Washington. In 2022, Dan and Cheryl retired to Albuquerque, joined Desert Springs Church, and he has since had the privilege of serving as an elder. Dan and Cheryl have two children, Matthew and Amy, and three grandchildren.
